DID YHWH HAVE DINNER WITH ABRAHAM?

                                  YHWH IS ANTHROPOMORPHIZED IN THE BIBLE

In the Bible YHWH is often represented with humanlike qualities. He is alternately a Father, a potter
-ISAIAH 64: 8, a Gardener -GENESIS 2: 8, a Man fighting -EXODUS 15: 3. YHWH walked in the Gan 'Aden (the Garden of Eden) and 'Adam and Khawah (Eve) hid themselves from Him -GENESIS 3: 8. He seals the door of Noah's ark -GENESIS 7: 16, has a meal with 'AbraHam -GENESIS 18: 1-16. Does the Holy Bible actually teach that the DEITY of 'AbraHam was a man? Please consider the following:

                                            YHWH HAS DINNER WITH 'ABRAHAM

..."And came to him YHWH by the oaks of Mamre; as he ('AbraHam) was sitting at the door of the tent in the heat of the day. And he ('AbraHam) lifted up his eyes and looked; and lo, three MEN (Anashim)"...

COMMENT: The word used in the Hebraic text rendered as MEN in English is spelled *Aleph, Nun, Shin, Yod, Mem* ANSHYM [Anashim] = Mortal Men or People.)

..."Were standing by him; and he saw and ran to meet them from the door of the tent, and he ('AbraHam) BOWED TO THE GROUND, And he ('AbraHam) said, "My Lord" ('Adonai)"...

COMMENT: The word used in the Hebraic text rendered as "My Lord" in English is spelled *Aleph, Daleth, Nun, Yod* 'ADNY ['Adonai] = A Title of Respect which is applied Only to YHWH (by Jews). Therefore, the above Scriptures prove that 'AbraHam was addressing his DEITY directly. Here the Holy Bible plainly states that the three who visited 'AbraHam were MEN. And that 'AbraHam bowed himself to the ground and said 'Adonai ("My Lord") to ONE of these three MEN. Some will even go as far as to say that the three MEN who visited 'AbraHam is symbolical of a "Trinity" ("a family of deities"). Or that the three MEN who visited 'AbraHam were actually angels (some type of spiritual beings), and were not really physical beings at all. Well, to those who take these views, please consider the following.

..."If please, I ('AbraHam) have found favor in Your sight, I beg You, do not leave from near Your servant, Let please be taken, a little water and You wash Your feet"...

QUESTION: Do Spirits (or a Trinity) have FEET that they should be WASHED with WATER?

..."And rest under the tree"...

QUESTION: Do Spirits (or a Trinity) need to rest under the SHADE of a TREE from the HEAT of the SUNLIGHT?

..."And let me ('AbraHam) bring a bite of bread, and sustain Your heart"...

QUESTION: Do Spirits (or a Trinity) have a heart which needs FOOD to be sustained?

..."That You may go on, for this is why You have passed over to Your servant. And They said, so Do as you have said. And ran 'AbraHam into the tent to Sarah and said, Hurry, make ready quickly three measures of fine meal knead it and make cakes. And 'AbraHam ran to the herd, and took a calf tender and good, and gave it to the youth; and he hurried to prepare it. And he took BUTTER and MILK, and the CALF which he had prepared, and set all before Them. And he ('AbraHam) stood by Them under the tree, and They (the three MEN) ate"...

QUESTION: Do Spirits (or a Trinity) CONSUME FOOD (i.e. Butter, Milk, and the flesh of animals?)

COMMENT: According to -EXODUS 6: 2-3 the Name YHWH was not even known to 'AbraHam or to any of the patriarchs:

..."And He spoke 'ALHYM to Moses and He said to him, I YHWH, and I appeared to 'AbraHam, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as 'AL (El) SHDY (Shaddai); but by My name YHWH not did I make Myself known to them"... -EXODUS 6: 2-3

This would mean that the actual name used by 'AbraHam and the patriarchs would have been 'ADNY 'AL SHDY ('Adonai 'AL Shaday) "My Lord Deity Almighty" (the Passionate form) or 'ADN 'AL SHDY ('Adon 'AL Shaday) "Lord Deity Almighty" (the Respectful form). 'Adonai, 'Adon, and Shaday, are not really names, but are only titles. 'AL is the proper name.

In this particular story however, 'AbraHam bowed himself to the ground and addressed One of the three MEN who came to visit him by the title 'Adonai (the Passionate form of 'Adon). So, here 'AbraHam was addressing his DEITY directly.

..."And he ('AbraHam) lifted his eyes and he saw; and see, three MEN (Anashim), ones standing near him; when he saw then he ran to meet Them from the entrance of the tent, and he ('AbraHam) BOWED TO GROUND, And he ('AbraHam) said, "My Lord" ('Adonai), now! if I ('AbraHam) have found favor in eyes of You, now! not You pass by servant of You, now! let Him be brought a little water then wash feet of You and rest! under the tree"...-GENESIS 18: 2-4

COMMENT: The above event happened in the land of Canaan, in an Oak grove, 2 miles north of Abdon (today's Hebron), the Oak grove was then called Mamre (today's Ramet el-Khalil) -GENESIS 18: 1. Mamre was in fact a Canaanite-'Amorite (the 'Amorites were Canaanites, descendants of Canaan -GENESIS 10: 15-16, through Ham -GENESIS 10: 6).

Mamre and his two other brothers 'Aner and Eshcol, were all Canaanite-'Amorites. 'AbraHam lived among the Canaanite-Amorites in an Oak grove which was named after Mamre, who was the owner of the Oak grove at that time -GENESIS 14: 13. The three Men who visited 'AbraHam were surely the three Canaanite-Amorite brothers Mamre, 'Aner, and Eshcol, of the land of Canaan.

QUESTION: Now, why did 'AbraHam bowed to the ground and address one of these three men as 'Adonai ("My Lord")?

COMMENT: Scripture clearly teaches that 'AbraHam's three visitors were 100% Mortal MEN. To say that the three MEN who visited 'AbraHam allegorically represents a "Trinity" ("a family of deities"), would be the same as to say that this whole story presented in the Holy Bible is allegory (i.e. myth). To say that the three MEN who visited 'AbraHam were actually angels or some type of spiritual beings (i.e. not real physical beings), would be the same as to say that 'AbraHam and Sarah were angels or spiritual beings with no physical reality at all. But the Truth of the mattrer is that this story is actually an episode from the life of 'AbraHam and Sarah according to the Sacred History Book of a real people. Let us continue on with this story which has been recorded in the Holy Bible:

..."And They said to him, Where is Sarah your wife? And he ('AbraHam) said, See, she is in the tent. And He (the 'Adon of 'AbraHam and Sarah) said, CERTAINLY I WILL RETURN TO YOU AT THIS SEASON OF LIFE; AND BEHOLD A SON SHALL BE TO SARAH YOUR WIFE; and Sarah was listening at the door of the tent which was behind Him (the 'Adon of 'AbraHam and Sarah). Now 'AbraHam and Sarah were old and advanced in days; it had ceased to be to Sarah the custom as to women. And laughed Sarah within herself, saying, After my being old, shall there be to me pleasure also my 'Adon ("lord") being old?"...

COMMENT: The word used in the Hebraic text rendered as "lord" in English is spelled *'Aleph, Daleth, Nun* 'ADN ['Adon] = A Sovereign (human or divine). Above Sarah is addressing a Ruler directly. Remember, 'Adonai is the Passionate form of the title 'Adon.

..."And YHWH said to 'AbraHam, WHY AT THIS HAS LAUGHED SARAH, SAYING, INDEED, SHALL I BEAR, EVEN BEING OLD? IS ANY THING TOO HARD FOR YHWH?"...

COMMENT: Here above YHWH has been undoubtedly anthropomorphized as a MAN.

..."AT THE SET TIME I ('ADON YHWH) WILL RETURN TO YOU, AT THIS SEASON IN LIFE, AND TO SARAH'S SON. Then denied Sarah; saying, not did I laugh---for she was afraid, And He ('ADON YHWH) said, NO, BUT YOU DID LAUGH. And rose up from there the MEN (Anashim)"...

COMMENT: Again the word used here above is *Anashim*, which refers to Mortal Men or People.

..."And looked toward Sodom; and 'AbraHam went with Them to see Them (the three MEN) off"...
-GENESIS 18: 1-16

COMMENT: The above Scriptures plainly identify 'AL SHDY ('AL Shaday) Who was known to Moses as YHWH -EXODUS 3: 2-3 as a MAN and not as a Spirit!

At -GENESIS 18 it is revealed without a shadow of a doubt, that the MAN who 'AbraHam bowed
down to, was in all truth his Deity, 'AL SHDY ('AL Shaday). And according to the Holy Bible at
-GENESIS 18, 'AL SHDY ("'AL Shaday") known to Moses as YHWH, was a MAN and not a Spirit.

So far we have seen how the Holy Bible at -GENESIS 18 has connected the Deity of 'AbraHam to a MAN. Now let's see how the Holy Bible connects this MAN who dined with 'AbraHam and who promised that even in their old age they ('AbraHam and Sarah) would bear a son, to YOSHA' (Jesus).

                                               'ABRAHAM SAW YOSHA' (Jesus)

..."Said therefore Yosha' (Jesus) to those Jews which believed in Him, If you continue in My word, truly you are My disciples; And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. They (these certain Jews) answered to Him, SEED OF ABRAHAM WE ARE, AND TO NO ONE HAVE WE BEEN ENSLAVED, NEVER. How do you say, free you will become?...

COMMENT: This seed of AbraHam (above called Jews) could not have been of the blood-line tribe of Judah (Judahites). It was foretold that the seed of 'AbraHam would experience servitude -GENESIS 15: 13. Which bondage the seed of 'AbraHam did infact experience at the hand of the Egyptians -EXODUS 2: 23, -EXODUS 6: 6.

...Answered them Yosha' (Jesus), Truly, truly, I say to you, that everyone practicing sin is a slave of sin. But the slave remains not in the house to the age; the Son remains to the age. If, then, the Son sets you free, really free you are. I know that the seed of AbraHam you are, but you seek Me to kill, because My word has not place in you. What I have seen with the Father of Me, I speak; and you, therefore, what you have seen with the father of you, you do. They answered and said to Him, The father of us is AbraHam. Says to them Yosha' (Jesus), If children of AbraHam you were, the works of AbraHam you would do...

COMMENT: These Jews were not the seed of AbraHam by his blood, but by his religion (faith) only.

...And now you seek Me to kill, a man who has spoken the truth to you, which I heard beside 'AL, THIS ABRAHAM DID NOT DO...

COMMENT: Here Yosha' (Jesus) has stated to these Jews (seed of 'AbraHam through faith), that 'AbraHam did not seek to kill Him.

QUESTION: Did Yosha' (Jesus) meet AbraHam?

...You do the works of the father of you, They said then to Him, We were not born of fornication; one father we have, 'AL. Said to them Yosha' (Jesus), If 'AL was father of you, you would love Me; for I from 'AL went forth, and have come; for not from Myself have I come, but That One sent Me. Why don't you understand My speech? It is because you are not able to hear My word. You are from your father the Devil; and the lusts of the father of you, you desire to do. That one was a murderer from the first, and in the truth has not stood, because truth is not in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own, for a liar he is, and the father of it. And because I speak the truth, you do not believe Me. Who of you reproves Me concerning sin? And if I say truth, why do you not believe Me? He being of 'AL hears the words of 'AL; therefore you do not hear, since from 'AL you are not...

COMMENT: Here Yosha' (Jesus) has stated that His words are the words of 'AL.

...The Jews then answered and said to Him, Say we not well that a Samaritan you are, and a demon you have?...

COMMENT: The Samaritans of the province of Samaria, were a mixed race which descended mostly from the Ten Tribes -GENESIS 15: 19-21; and heathen immigrants (Assyrians). They inhabited central Canaan (Palestine), between Judah and Galilee. Their faith and practice was founded on the "Five Books of Moses" alone, and they rejected the whole of the other Jewish books. The Jewish tradition condemned the Samaritans for pronouncing the Sacred Name instead of substituting *'Adonai* for YHWH. The Samaritans of the province of Samaria were expressly included by Yosha' (Jesus), to witness to the power of the Holy Spirit, in his commission to preach the Beshora (Gospel) -ACTS 1: 8.

...Answered Yosha' (Jesus), A demon I have not, but I honor the Father of Me, and you dishonor Me. But I do not seek the glory of Me; One is seeking and judging. Truly, truly, I say to you, If anyone keeps my word, he will never ever see death. Then the Jews said to Him, Now we know that you have a demon. 'AbraHam died, and the prophets; and you say, If anyone the word of Me keeps, never ever, in no way will he taste of death. Are you greater than our father 'AbraHam, who died? Also the prophets died. Whom do you make yourself? Answered Yosha' (Jesus), If I glorify Myself, the glory of Me is nothing; it is the Father of Me glorifying Me; whom you say is your 'AL. And you have not known Him; but I know Him, and if I say that I know not Him, I shall be like you, a liar. But I know Him, and the word of Him I keep. YOUR FATHER ABRAHAM (father through religion) REJOICED TO SEE MY DAY; AND HE SAW IT AND WAS GLAD...

COMMENT: Here Yosha' (Jesus) has stated plainly to these certain Jews that 'AbraHam has seen Him and was also glad to have seen Him.

...Then said the Jews to him, You are not yet fifty years old, and yet have you seen 'AbraHam? Yosha' (Jesus) said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, Before 'AbraHam was born, I was...

COMMENT: Here Yosha' (Jesus) has clearly stated, that He existed before 'AbraHam.

...Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Yosha' (Jesus) hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by"... -JOHN 8: 31-59

COMMENT: Please compare -GENESIS 18: 1-16 with -JOHN 8: 31-59. It is clearly seen that Yosha' (Jesus) has plainly stated that He was born before 'AbraHam, and that He Himself has met 'AbraHam. In the face of all evidence, Yosha' (Jesus) surely was one of the three men who visited and dined with 'AbraHam.

QUESTION: Was Yosha' (Jesus) in fact the One Who appeared to 'AbraHam as 'AL SHDY ('AL Shaday) and who Moses knew as YHWH? What does the Holy Bible say to confirm this?

..."That you keep the commandment without stain or reproach until the appearing of our 'Adon Mashikha Yosha' (Ruler Jesus Christ), which He will bring about at the proper time---He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of Kings and 'Adon of 'Adonim, WHO ALONE POSSESSES IMMORTALITY and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see. To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen"... -1 TIMOTHY 6: 14-16

CONCLUSION: 'AL SHDY ('AL Shaday), YHWH and YOSHA' (Jesus) are ONE and THE SAME!
