THE DIETARY LAW

Who gave Moses the Law?

We will do a strange work here which is seldom done today. We will allow the Scriptures to be our guide to answer that question, along with a few others that need to be addressed. After finding out who gave this law to Moses, we should have no problem following it, if we call ourselves Nazoraean-Israelites.

Remember what YWSHA (Yosha = Jesus) taught:

..."For truly I say unto you, Untill heaven and earth pass away, not even a Yod or a Hireq shall pass away from the Law untill all of it is fulfilled"...
-MATTHEW 5: 18

We still have the heavens and the earth, correct? That indicates that the Law still remains in tact. Those that read the Holy Bible know that all has not been fulfilled, so His Laws and Statutes must be kept.

In addition, we must also look at Scriptures that some individuals seem to think that the subject in those particular Scriptures or passages is dealing with "The Dietary Law", when in fact it has nothing at all to do with it.

Those individuals try to use Paul's writings to support their view or conclusion:

..."As also in all his epistles, he spoke concerning these matters, in which there are certain things so hard to be understood that those who are ignorant and unstable pervert their meaning, as they do also the other Scriptures, to their own destruction"... -2 PETER 3: 16

The unquestionable fact is that the Law of Sacrifice was nailed to the cross, which was our schoolmaster to bring us to Ha Moshel (The Ruler). Now, lets see who gave "The Dietary Law" to Moses and he to the Bet-Israel.

..."AND YHWH SPOKE TO MOSES AND AARON, and said to them, Speak to the son's of Israel and say to them, These are the beasts which you shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth"... -LEVITICUS 11: 1-2

So, who spoke to Moses and Aaron? YHWH spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying:

..."These are the beasts which you shall eat"...

This brings us to the question, is YHWH a Unseen God? Well, let's let the Book tell us. Take a Look at this Scripture -JOHN 1: 18:

..."NO MAN HAS EVER SEEN GOD; but the first-born of God, who is in the bosom of his Father, he hath declared him"... -JOHN 1: 18

Please Note: the verse says:

..."No man has ever seen God"...

So, that covers all time, correct? If no man has ever seen God, who then was being worshiped according to -EXODUS 24: 1?

..."And he said unto Moses, COME UP TO YHWH, you and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and you shall worship afar off"... -EXODUS 24: 1

We see in the above Scripture, Moses, Aaron, Nadab, Abihu and seventy of the elders were told to come up to YHWH and worship.

Let us now go to -EXODUS 24: 9-11 and see what happened when these 74 Israelites arrive on top of the mount:

..."Then Moses, and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel went up; AND THEY SAW THE GOD OF ISRAEL; and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of sapphire stone, clear as the color of the sky. And he did not harm the elders of the son's of Israel; AND THEY SAW GOD AND ATE AND DRANK"... -EXODUS 24: 9-11

The Scripture clearly states:

..."THEY SAW THE GOD OF ISRAEL"...

The Scripture does not state that it was a vision. But however, -JOHN 1: 18 states:

..."No man Has Ever Seen God"...

Before we return to the Book of -JOHN to find out who exactly is the Unseen God (that no man has ever seen), please note what -EXODUS 24: 12 states:

..."And YHWH said to Moses, Come up to me to the mountain, and present yourself there; and I will give you tablets of stone, and the Law and Commandments which I have written; that you may teach them"... -EXODUS 24: 12

So, who wrote the Law that Moses was instructed to teach? YHWH DID!
Now, let's find out who the unseen God is, who no man has ever seen.

Please take note -JOHN 5: 37!

..."AND THE FATHER who has sent me testified concerning me. BUT YOU HAVE NEVER HEARD HIS VOICE NOR SEEN HIS APPEARANCE"... -JOHN 5: 37

So, who is the Unseen God that hasn't ever been seen by men? THE FATHER HIMSELF:

..."BUT YOU HAVE NEVER HEARD HIS VOICE NOR SEEN HIS APPEARANCE"...

Now, let's see who the Seen God is (The God of Israel), that the seventy four Israelites saw on mount Horeb. Let's go to -I CORINTHIANS 10: 1-4:

..."Moreover, brethren, I want you to know that our fathers were all under the cloud and all passed through the sea; And all were baptized unto Moses, both in the cloud and in the sea; And all ate the same spiritual food; And all drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank of that spiritual ROCK THAT FOLLOWED THEM; AND THAT ROCK WAS CHRIST"...
-I CORINTHIANS 10: 1-4

So, who was YHWH in the Mountain that gave Moses the Law? YHWH was CHRIST! Let us turn to -JOHN 5: 43 to see who's name Christ came in:

..."I HAVE COME IN THE NAME OF MY FATHER, and you do not receive me; if another should come in his own name, you will receive him"... -JOHN 5: 43

So, you see, YWSHA (Yosha = Jesus) in the Father's Name. I would be real careful when it comes to the Name of YWSHA (Yosha = Jesus).

Now that we see that Moshel Yosha (Jesus Christ), is the ONE that gave the commandments to Moses, we should have no problem doing what He says if we call ourselves Nazoraean-Israelites.

..."He who has my commandments with him and obeys them is the one who loves me; he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and reveal myself to him"... -JOHN 14: 21
